Good morning and welcome to wake me up.

You know that little voice in your head? The one that sometimes says great stuff, but other

times says all kinds of crazy things, maybe even makes you feel bad or guilty. Well, that's your self-talk, and today we're going to make sure that

voice is a positive one. Let's start right here and right now just by taking a few deep breaths.

So inhale, fill all the way into your belly.

Hold it at the top and exhale. Let it all go. And we'll do a few more, but now think of something you're grateful for, a friend, the weather, something exciting on your calendar.

And once you have that thing in mind, inhale and fill yourself with gratitude for that thing.

Hold and exhale, sending appreciation back out into the world.

Once more, think of something new.

Inhale, filling out. think of something new.

Now that we've centered the mind on something more positive, it's a perfect time to get this beautiful day going. So if you're in bed, then take a deep breath, and as you exhale roll over and make your way to standing up. All right. In the interest of time, we're not going to do a stretch today. So if you'd like to do that, you can press pause or do some stretches afterwards.

So find a comfortable seat. Anywhere in your home will do. Just don't sit in your bed because you don't want to fall back asleep now that you're up.
