We're back today for a meditation on this week's theme of savoring.

As we discussed yesterday, savoring is a mindfulness approach that encourages you to do the same thing with life

that you do with your favorite meal. Saver it. Enjoy every bite and really make the most of it.

If this approach is applied to all of life,

then the great stuff will naturally be more highlighted

and the tough stuff will be softened up a bit.

And today, we'll use visualization to draw on some past memories

to help you put savoring into practice.

So go ahead and find a comfortable seat anywhere in

your home, just not in your bed. And let's get started. Once you're found that seat, allow yourself to relax down into it.

Make sure you're sitting upright and supported, but don't hold on to any tension.

Take a big breath in and on your exhale into a meditative state.

Let your face relax.

Drop your jaw and release your shoulders. Take some deep breaths just at your own natural pace.

There's no need to force anything And just follow that breath for a moment or so
