celebrate my favorite holiday Thanksgiving. Today we're going to be doing a very special gratitude meditation. It's a really powerful

one and I know you're going to love it. I've personally done this one before and I can say it really hits that sweet spot.

So let's not waste another minute. Let's go ahead and jump right in.

So find a comfortable position that you want to meditate in. As you probably know, I recommend meditating sitting up. And that's really just to make sure you don't fall

asleep but I know that we all have different preferences and different spaces to meditate

in so do whatever works best for you, whether that's laying down,

standing up, or even walking.

And once you've found that comfortable position, just let yourself settle in.

Try to keep your body supported, but let go of any tension.

Take a deep breath in and on your exhale slowly close your eyes. Use this first moment to help guide your body and your mind into a meditative state.

The mind follows the body.

So if you relax your body, your mind will do the same.

And a few things that I like to do that help relax my body and mind

are softening the face.

Dropping the jaw. and releasing the shoulders down. And for now, you can just follow the natural rise and fall of your own breath. Rest your attention there and just follow that up and down, that natural cycle of your own body.
