it's a natural time to look back on the ups and downs we've experienced.

Some of these may have been joyful and fulfilling, while others may have

been difficult and challenging. I'm willing to bet there was a little bit of both. This meditation will help you reflect on the year

just passed so that no matter what's happened you can appreciate how much

you've grown and look toward the future with a positive

So I know your time is precious.

Let's go ahead and jump right in.

So find a comfortable position that you want to meditate in.

As you probably know by now, I recommend that you meditate sitting up, but you should meditate in whatever position works best for you.

Once you've found that comfortable position, whatever position works best for you,

take a deep breath in, fill all the way up.

And as you exhale, you can slowly close your eyes.

In the first minute or so of meditation, the mind tends to be the most active. That's because we've just started bringing it into this

meditative state. It needs a little time to wind down and slow down. and one really helpful tool to slow your mind is to slow and relax your body.

So just take this first moment to allow yourself to relax and settle in to your position.
