Sometimes the Bible reads like a museum gallery. Stories unfolding in bright swatches of color and brushstrokes of glory with larger than life figures like Abraham, David, and Jesus himself showcased in beautiful lighting with polished plaques gleaming beneath them.

But hidden in the corners of the

gallery and tucked between the pages of Scripture are stories that have been passed over. Through

this message with Pastor Skip, we'll encounter those who may have been overlooked for centuries,

but were seen, called, and used by God.

I'm glad you're here, glad you came to church.

Always good to be with God's people together in the house.

I trust you either brought a Bible or you have access to one.

So would you turn in your Bibles to the book of Esther that is in your Old Testament?

Esther chapter three and four.

That's where we're going to be reading in a moment.

It was Dale Carnegie who used to say there's always three speeches

for the one you actually gave.

And he described it this way.

There's the speech you practice.

There's the one you gave,

and then there's the one you wish you gave.

But sometimes all those three come together as one,

where you actually give the speech you always wanted to give.

And when that happens, it can change the world.
