I was, during the worship, just the last few minutes, looking at this picture that is behind me that you can see of Jerusalem.

It's such a great photograph, and I didn't take it.

But it was taken, it's an aerial view, though I have flown in a helicopter over this area.

This is a stunning photograph.

In fact, I thought, if I had a pointer, I could sort of take you on a mini tour.

I could do a whole session just on the things that happened right here,

because you are looking at the navel of the earth, the center of the earth. And it's a picture of the temple mount of Jerusalem. It is the focus of the book of Nehemiah who came back to rebuild the city,

rebuild the walls of the city, and many of those walls are walls that you see behind me

as you're looking at this photograph. We are in Nehemiah chapter six and God willing seven,

but definitely chapter six for today's study. I just flew back yesterday from Cambodia.

Boy are my arms tired, no.

But when I was there, Cambodia has an interesting history, very violent history.

Some of you will remember back in 1975, not that long ago, in 1979.

It was ruled by a guy by the name of Pol Pot and the Khmer Rouge.

If you've seen or heard of the book and movie, The Killing Fields, it's all about what happened there in Cambodia. Millions of people

butchered, especially those who had a background of Christianity, religious faith. All religions

were persecuted by the communist socialist regime, but Christianity

was targeted. However, recently it has opened up. The doors have opened up for ministry,

and we had great events over there this last week with Franklin Graham.
