In today's episode, a mysterious force knocks the moon into a collision course with Earth and Roland Emmerich's

sci-fi adventure, Moonfall. In a world on the brink of annihilation, two former astronauts

team up with a conspiracy theorist to save humanity. As they mount an impossible last-ditch

mission into space, they discover that the moon is not what we think it is.

In addition to Moonfall, Mr. Emmerich's directorial credits include the feature films,

Independence Day, The Patriot, The Day After Tomorrow, Stonewall, Independence Day Resurgence,

and the movie for television, Dark Horse.

Following a recent screening of the film at the DGA Theater in Los Angeles,

Mr. Emmerich shares insight into the making of Moonfall with fellow director Anna Forrester.

No, I mean, I just saw the movie in at the premiere, at the men's Chinese, and it was my first

movie in a very long time, I mean, in a very long time, where I actually went outside

and saw a movie and that was definitely an experience. I mean, there you go and you see

those, what you just saw, those visuals that are epic and definitely have scope and scale.
