Behind the Black Bob Zimmerman is here. I'm John Bachelor. We're headed to

NASA picking landing sites. Where, Bob, and for what? This is on the South Pole of the Moon

this is nine candidate landing sites for the first manned landing of the Ammonautus program,

Artemis 3.

They're planning to do this in 26.

As I've been saying, it ain't going to happen, I think,

until 30, if that's soon.

But at least with Artemis as planned with the SLS

rocket in a riot. I have doubts it's going to happen in 26. But nonetheless

they've now picked nine sites. I've got a map on behind the black.

The prime site is a peak near the crater, Kobayas, B.

Kobayas Crayas Crayas, nearby there was the one they impacted the L-Cross,

and it had, its plume had a lot of water signatures so that's one of the reasons that's a prime science job.

And Astronomers a 3D map of a supernova where?

This is a supernova that apparently occurred in 1181 AD. They know that from Chinese

data records which are pretty good about these new stars they would discover and they

recently found the remnant of that and it kind of looks like spokes rating out of a central point, almost like a dandelion, that's what the press release

says.

And so using spectroscopy, they were able to determine which of those filaments or spokes is moving away from us and

which are moving towards us and that allowed them to create a 3D little movie

which I've got them behind the black showing this dandelion literally
