There is a 52 year old woman named Diane Toronto.

She's been a teacher for almost 20 years.

She started working as an eighth grade social studies teacher in Port St. Lucie, Florida.

She gave her class an assignment to make an explorers notebook.

They had two weeks to do it.

But some of them didn't turn in anything at all.

Diane gave them zeros.

Yes, that's what I always got.

And because of that, the school board fired her, forgiving zeros.

I like this idea.

I would have liked this a lot.

I do a lot of zeros.

I bounced them out with tests.

That's how I did it.

I got like a D.

They were like, you've got like, you're the highest test scores and lowest homework scores

we've ever seen.

I'm like, that's how I do it.

That's going to be the story of my life.

Apparently, the school board policy is no grades lower than 50%.
