We're going to begin with a weekend washout for the Northeast. Millions brace for more severe weather and a flash flood threat. Ginger, I know you're tracking it all for it. Oh, you know, I am. So we're kind of stuck in what we call an Omega Block. And I'm going to explain what that means. But this morning, you can see it on the camera here in New York City, Socked in. Well, you can't see New York City. Just see the ferry in the foreground. You should see Manhattan there. But a lot of people are socked in with fog. And with more storms on the way, we have an elevated risk for flash flooding. Not just here in New York City, all of Long Island, Connecticut, right through Hartford, back up through the Hudson Valley, Poughkeepsie's included, and parts of the cat skills. Now that is one low pressure system stuck onto the right side of what is an omega block. That's the jet stream getting stuck in an omega shape. So in the center, you've got that warmer and drier air, but in the southwest, they've had that low pressure system. It just sits and spins. Same thing that's happening here, but they've had more hail.
