It's so fun to see all the clips from previous years and with Mother's Day coming up. We're taking a look back at the moms we've met over the years. The hip-hop mogul is in court as one of the most high-profile cases of the year gets underway. Let's go to Aaron Kuturski. He's been following this one from the very start. Hey there, Aaron. And good afternoon, Eva. Funny you were mentioning the Met Gala. Sean Combs was once a fixture on that red carpet.

So it's kind of ironic and quite a coincidence that jury selection in his criminal trial is starting the very same day.

Plenty of famous faces have appeared at this courthouse through the years.

But a cultural phenomenon like Combs has just not gone

on trial as a criminal defendant here before. Jury selection is just now getting underway.

Combs is appearing not in Bayes jail garb like we've seen him, but in a crewneck sweater

over a regular dress shirt. He was given special permission to wear ordinary clothes for the proceedings.

And once the jury is seated, they will be asked to stand in judgment of one of music's most important figures

and decide whether he put his power, wealth, and fame to use to force women in a prolonged drug-fueled orgies that he called

freak-offs and then threatened them in the silence. His attorneys are out to convince the jury
