And we want to make sure that the battle that we're facing is a battle that the Lord wants us to face.

And it's a battle of what we're asking for God to fight with us.

Great example in Scripture. We'll talk about it today.

Welcome back, my friends, to today's episode

of Everyday Truth.

I am in Australia at the moment,

and just helping my daughter with a few things

over here down under,

but I am grateful to be with you via the airwaves and thankful that you're

tuning in today. I'm trying to hold my phone while I do this podcast today. So if I'm shaking a

little bit, it's because I'm doing the best I can. But we're in First Kings chapter 8, as you know,

and Solomon is praying this incredible dedicatory prayer

about the temple and what the temple resource will be for God's people.

Obviously, the center point of the temple resource will be for God's people.

Obviously, the center point of the temple is the presence of God himself.

And Solomon is praying on behalf of the people that they would always be cognizant of God being central and God being most valuable in their lives.
