Hey, friends, welcome back. We are in the studio, obviously, and I have one of the best cups of coffee I have had in a long time.

We have this new coffee maker in the office. It starts

with an M. I don't know. It's like I got a copper tube and it makes coffee really quickly.

You grind your own coffee. I'm not quite sure how it works, but it works. And I'm enjoying this cup of coffee.

So have I sip a couple times like that during the episode?

Hey, we're in First Kings chapter eight.

And Solomon is praying.

He is leading the congregation in its worship to its direction toward the Lord.

That's what leaders do. Leaders help the people that follow them, the people over whom they have some

influence. They help them to look upward, to see God, to see God's perspective.

And I hope that's what you do as a mom, as a dad, as an older brother or sister, as a good friend.

I hope that what you try to do is help people to look up, help people to see God's perspective to make God

attractive. Paul said, I want my life to make Christ bigger. And Solomon certainly had that

spirit. Here he is in front of the whole congregation praying. And we talked about that
