Hey, we're in First Kings chapter six and at first glance you read passages like these and it seems

almost, I don't know, boring. We're talking about building construction and this room and this

size. It's almost like you're reading architectural plans. But please know that there's no

part of the Bible that is unimportant. And there's a reason why God gives the time and the attention to passages like this,

because what the temple was, that building that Solomon built all those many years ago,

was not in and of itself the most important thing. But remember, the temple was a shadow of a greater

temple. And of course, that greater temple is none other than the Lord Jesus. Remember, Jesus
