start by saying that fortunately everyone involved in the story is of legal age.

On Friday, the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops voted for a plan that could

deny communion to public figures who support abortion rights, which would ultimately result

in a public review of President Biden, where he would not be allowed to take communion.

The bishop's plan will be developed over the summer and presented for amendments and approval

in November, and will need to be approved by the Vatican.

So while this plan is not definitely in place, this vote is the first step in the process

When asked about the matter, President Biden remarks that, quote, it is a private matter
