Let's get you caught up with today seven stories.

Number one, a key member of Israel's government quit yesterday.

Benny Gantz is considered to be Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's top political rival.

He announced last night that he was resigning from the government's war cabinet.

The move could destabilize Netanyahu's already weakening hold

over his coalition government.

And some analysts say the resignation will increase

the pressure on Netanyahu to bring the war in Gaza to an end.

The head of the Israeli military's Gaza division at the time of the October 7th attack

also said on Sunday he would resign from his position. These announcements came after

Israeli forces rescued four Israeli hostages in an operation in

central Gaza. According to Gaza health officials, more than 270 Palestinians were killed in the attack.

Number two, far right parties won big in the European Parliament elections. From Thursday to Sunday, roughly 350 million
