Donald Trump will be inaugurated as the 47th president of the United States today.

It's Monday, January 20th. Let's get you caught up with today's seven stories.

Exactly four years ago, Donald Trump left the White House and Joe Biden was inaugurated as president.

Trump did not stick around to attend Biden's ceremony

in front of the U.S. Capitol, but today, Biden is set to attend Trump's inauguration. And it will be a

very different scene. The ceremony has been moved inside the Capitol because of freezing temperatures

in Washington, D.C. The last time that happened was in

1985 at Ronald Reagan's second inauguration. Trump will take the oath of office at noon eastern.

At 78, he'll be the oldest man to be inaugurated president in U.S. history. He'll also become just

the second to serve non-consecutive terms.

And former Ohio Senator J.D. Vance will be sworn in as the first millennial vice president.

In his inauguration speech, expect Trump to make a promise of unity. He will deliver that message from

the Capitol Rotunda. That was one of the key scenes

of the 2021 Capitol riot, when his supporters violently tried to stop the certification of Biden's

2020 election win. After the ceremony, Trump will head to the president's room near the Senate

chamber to sign documents and kick off his second administration's

agenda. That brings us to our next story. Trump said he'll sign dozens of executive orders

within hours of taking office. That's number two. On the eve of his inauguration, Trump held a

raucous victory rally in a D.C. arena.
