government workers to describe what they did last week in five bullet points. On his social media

platform X, the president's billionaire advisor, Elon Musk,

said that failure to respond would be considered a resignation, although the actual email didn't say

that. It followed a post from President Donald Trump saying that Musk should, quote,

get more aggressive. Musk's Doge team has been leading massive cuts to government.

But this latest email blitz has been met with confusion and some resistance,

particularly at defense and intelligence agencies.

Several agency leaders told their staff not to reply to the email.

finding them out. We're removing all of the unnecessary and competent and corrupt bureaucrats from the federal workforce.
