Most recently, a nation of two and a half million,

the second poorest in the whole of the EU,

has advanced another step towards joining the EU.

It is not a member of NATO.

It is a country that's been handed back and forth between

Romania and the Soviet Union at least for the last 100 years the people speak Romanian right now is a democracy. It's a democracy

that's vital to the region. It's on the Danube and it's in trouble.

West haven't probably even heard of it prior to the full scale invasion when actually putting, not directly but indirectly

basically threatened the future of Moldova.

And basically, you know, Ukraine is not the only European nation whose sovereignty has been threatened by Russia.
