We're answering your listener questions. Today we are pre-recording this one on Sunday as we are last minute packing and taking care of things

working otherwise to head to Alaska tomorrow on Monday Steve. Yeah, it seems surreal that it's here, just,

as that's the case of every opening day,

but it's like all this anticipation and thought and planning

and bam, here it is and inevitably there's last minute things happening of course

we will be shooting a video you and Justin was shooting a video tomorrow going over like a what's in my pack for gear and of course that's just the pre-hunt.

Are you weighing anything last minute, Steve, on... I know you're still like

packing and putting stuff together, but in terms of making decisions, are you anything a toss up at this point or is everything fully settled in your mind?

No everything's fully settled. You know we had all the different stoves and headlamps and things that we ordered to review during this process and some of that was like staring at which one I wanted to take on this trip or you know, but I got all that done kind of last night actually and yeah

now it's just a matter of really finalized and everything I got all my food

prepped just got to put it into the individual bags, count the calories and put it in the

bags, but kind of did all the individual.

I really, I have a lot, it's kind of a pain in the ass actually I've kind of switched to going to Costco and buying like bulk items and bags and then you got to you know re-bag it into smaller ones and using a scale and making sure that the weight doesn't.

I'm packing enough like as far as each bag is the same calories.
