Good evening once again. I am Stephanie Ruhl. Right now, the sun is rising on the fourth day of a new war in the Middle East after Donald Trump chose to bomb Iran in a joint operation with Israel killing the country's supreme leader.

Tonight, U.S. military officials say that six American service members have now died in the

conflict. None of them have been publicly identified yet.

There has been more bombing throughout the day as the U.S. and Israel continue to attack Iran.

Iran and its proxies are carrying out retaliatory strikes across the area.

The State Department is now telling Americans across 14 countries in the Middle East that they should leave immediately.

Saudi Arabia's defense ministry says that the American embassy there was attacked by two drones.

They say that according

to initial estimates, there is minor damage to the building. According to Reuters, the Strait of

Hormuz, and this is important, is now effectively closed. Depending on how long that lasts,

it could bring massive consequences for the global economy. We're going to get into that more later.
