We are back with more of our special coverage of the Trump administration's strike on Iran

and the repercussions in the region and across the globe. In just the past hour, the president

returned to Washington from Mar-a-Lago until tonight the president had been overseeing the

operation from a makeshift tent at his country club in Florida.

The administration released these images showing President Trump yesterday, huddling with Chief of Staff Susie Wiles, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and CIA director John Radcliffe.

The initial wave of strikes killed Iran's supreme leader, as well as several members of senior leadership.

And today, U.S. and Israeli forces continued to attack ballistic missile sites and warships

across the country. As of this evening, Iranian leaders say that more than 200 people have

been killed since the strikes began. According to Iranian state media, a U.S. Israeli strike

hit a girls' elementary school in southern Iran,

killing more than 165 people, most of whom were likely children.

Israeli rescue services also report that nine people were killed and 28 more wounded by an Iranian

airstrike that hit a synagogue. This morning, the Pentagon announced the first known American casualties of the conflict,

reporting that three U.S. service members have been killed in the operation with an additional

five seriously wounded.

In a video posted on social media, the president said more Americans are expected to make that same.

We pray for the full recovery of the wounded and send our immense love and eternal gratitude

to the families of the fallen. And sadly, there will likely be more.

Before it ends, that's the way it is.

objectives are achieved.
