And today I'm bringing you two stories about two young women in two different cities

who went missing two years apart.

These are the stories of Kiera Coles and Kishay Jacobs.

It's the evening of Wednesday, October 3rd, 2018, and this woman named Karen Phillips

is trying to reach her daughter, 26-year-old Kiera Coles.

She called Kiera that morning, but didn't get an answer.

And at the time, Karen just figured she must have been at work already for the day, so she

tried again at afternoon, but still got no answer.

So she decides to try one more time before she turns in for the night, but even then,

still no answer.

Now at the time she's trying not to overreact or fear the worst, because Kiera is a grown

woman, she's responsible, surely everything is fine.

Like, maybe she's just out somewhere, forgot to charge her phone, maybe she's not feeling

while trying to get some sleep, something like that.

Right.

So when Karen wakes up on Thursday morning, she calls again, and Kiera's phone rolls straight

to voicemail again.

And that's when Karen gets that sinking feeling in the pit of her stomach, that she knows

something isn't right.

She and Kiera talk every day, often more than once a day, and it's not like Kiera to be

out of touch for any length of time, but for sure, not longer than 24 hours.
