Ladies and gentlemen of the interwebs, there's the old maxim never attribute to malice what can be attributed to incompetence.

There's also the other maxim, never see evil where there's just stupidity.

But occasionally those overlap, and you can see both stupidity and the face of evil, and that person's name is Chuck Schumer. Behold this throwback to the past.

You take on the intelligence community, they have six ways from Sunday at getting back at you.

So even for a practical supposedly hard-nosed businessman, he's being really dumb to do this.

What do you think the intelligence community would do if they were motivated to? I don't know, but from what I am told, they are very upset with how he has treated

them and talked about them.

I don't know what they might do.

Maybe they'll try to change the laws and then put him in jail.

Maybe they'll try to bankrupt him.

And who knows?

Maybe they'll have a Pac-Man perimeter at Butler, Pennsylvania,

and try to take his life after having tried to take his money and his freedom.

And we need the intelligence community.

We don't know what's got.

Look at the Russian hacking.

Without the intelligence community, we wouldn't have discovered it.

Do you appreciate how much sense this all makes in backwards now, but I just want to go back

I think he has an agenda to try to dismantle parts of the intelligence community.

I mean, this form of taunting hostility.
