Our junior producer, Martha Miller Miller is on the case starting with the BBC

but it's a long shot. When I contacted BBC Archives they originally said that there are two remaining fragments of a BBC home service recording from 1949.

Martha has managed to find a radio listings magazine from that year,

which gives more information about the program.

It was called The Frogman, and it was about an underwater expedition led by crab and it was

mentioned in the program and Martha's just been sent the only surviving clip from the program. It's on her laptop.
