Hey Jordan Harbinger here from the Art of Charm. Welcome to Mini-Sood Monday. Every Monday we give a quick tip that you can apply right away that's gonna make you more magnetic more effective.

It's something quick. It's something actionable. So that's why it's so short and why you know we want to give you time to take action.

And you know do this right after you hear it. Today we got a little thought exercise.

If you were to gain the magical ability to ask your dog your cat and a dust mite to describe the world around them.

You get some wildly different answers and they'd all be wrong. The dog season black and white.

The cat would tell you about all the high places that are safe and where you can see the rest of the house.

And the dust mites entire world would be the inside of a mattress that you have never seen. Of course the version of the world that you'd describe if you were asked would be just as varied and just as biased flawed and inaccurate.

Now we can't get to the high places. We can't smell the food in the space under the stove.

Nor can we nestle between memory foam slabs. Of course our own reality is the one constructed via our senses and ways in which we perceive the world.

Now fortunately that same biased flawed and inaccurate reality. Well that's still useful. It's still shared by many around us which is why we're not constantly crashing into one another.

Crashing into walls we can use the same machines we can consume the same media we can communicate a lot of the time. In other words this illusion seems to be working for us at least a little bit.

The problems arise when the illusion that we think we share with those around us really isn't something we haven't common.

We think they're seeing what we're seeing but they're not. At that point the illusion is no longer a tool we used to interact with one another and with the world.

It's just a fiction it's a fantasy it gets in the way more than it helps us and other people navigate.

So if the way you or your organization or your family or loved one sees the world if that's not helping you navigate.

It's not helping you relate it's not helping you succeed you should consider seeing the world in a different way try adopting the perspectives of other people especially those people that are successful the guests you here on the show are obviously a great place to start.

Remember as humans our tools are illusions they are malleable so start bending your reality instead of trying to bend that of others to fit your fictions or to fit your fantasy the only useful illusions are the ones that we all share.

So let me know how this goes over the next few weeks and months as you integrate these ideas into your life and you take the action step of trying to adopt other people's perspectives on a daily basis.
