Today is Friday.

So as a parent of two lovely daughters, Zürian Zola, it's really a fulfilling and thoroughly

incredible situation at home.

But I have to admit, it's really hard sometimes.

So my daughters are four years apart, Zürian is the oldest, and the other day she did something

that I told her not to do, and in the act of disciplining her, I yelled at her.

And it was one of those situations where as soon as the words exited my mouth, I kind of

wondered, should I have said that?

So the whole situation really got me thinking about mindful communication as it pertains

with our family and particularly with our kids, because let's be honest, they can test

To help me explore this topic, I've brought on my very good friend and fellow headspace
