And one of the most fantastic things about the internet is obviously how

egalitarian it is. Everybody has a voice. Everybody can create, they can thrust their creative probisis into the informational

can definitely connect with like-minded people. It's great, but one of the most putrid

insufferable things about the internet is also how egalitarian it is.

Even the most vapid, hateful bellicose yahoos

can say whatever they want. They can harass people, they can take advantage of others,

they can misrepresent themselves. So it like anything of potency, I suppose, is definitely a double-edged sword.

The mixture of the two, though, the pure and the putrid creates this informational muck, leaving the nutritious, real, valuable particles

stained by the sewage, corrupted, meaning now you've got to take an even

harder look at information to make sure of what it is because everything good has to contract a sort of rash

because everything has skid marks from brushing up against the informational

shardicles that are out there.

I think that's an accurate way to put it. I mean if there is a fantastic life-changing

course out there.

If there's someone giving away a free

fucking warehouse filled with gold bullion, I'd cruise right by it in a heartbeat a thousand times because I am expert, exhausted.

Expert in quotes, of course.

The only way I'm likely to trust something at this point is if I seek it out and I research it directly or connect with the person who's making it and still then do plenty of my

own consulting of third party opinions.
