This week, Dan and I, Rachel Clinton, returned to the category of spiritual abuse.

After wrestling with these heartbreaking dynamics a year ago, we realized there is still so much

to explore about the ways that spiritual abuse hijacks our bodies and minds,

keeping us from the freedom, spaciousness, and beauty we were created for.

Hey, that feels more like radio than almost anything we've done.

Nonetheless, we did a series of four podcasts, March of last year, on the issue

of spiritual abuse. And we really had a very strong response, which is in many ways I'm glad.

Of course, it's heartbreaking. It's really heartbreaking. So we've been asked a number of times.

I remember traveling with you to Pittsburgh where we

were working with a beautiful organization and someone came up and said, what did they say to you,

Rachel, regarding this? I think just that the work that we did gave them language to make sense of a lot of the harm they had experienced,

that they were really struggling to find language for and to understand, you know, how to make

sense of the impact of the harm.

So.

Yeah, I'm grateful.

You're using the royal plural there. I think that was much more about what you brought. Nonetheless, let's just say this is a really important topic. One we go into with a, I hope, I hope people hear each and every time we do any podcasts that there has been thought, reflection, prayer.
