I'm Julie Roy's, and I'm coming to you this morning with a breaking story about Mike Bickle, the disgrace founder of the International House of Prayer in Kansas City or IHop KC.

Apparently, Bickle is preparing a ministry comeback, and Saturday night, a group of his friends

sent an email to supporters calling them to participate in a seven-day fast for the fallen leader.

You may recall that last February, an independent investigation

found that Bickle had groomed and sexually abused 17 women and girls during his decades leading

IHOPC. Even so, there are some that continue to rally around him, and in Saturday's email,

they called the exposure of Mike's decades-long

pattern of sexual abuse, quote, a dramatic assault against the prayer movement, and specifically

Mike Bickle. I've received a copy of that email sent from the email account of someone named

Moira Houston, and I'd like to read it to you in full.

Dear friend of Mike Bickle, the last few years have brought a dramatic assault against the prayer

movement, and specifically Mike Bickle. The 2003, Isaiah 62 Fast for Israel that united 100 million

people in prayer, struck a clear nerve in the second heavens and a brutal

assault hit back to shatter, confuse, and silence clear messaging and organized prayer for Israel

in a critical hour. This has been particularly true for the leader of the Isaiah 62 fast

and one of the foremost clear voices on Israel in the end times.

The press to silence Mike Bickle's voice through weaponizing long past sin against him

continues to move at every turn. For over 50 years, Mike Bickle has fasted and prayed for the church

and for Israel. Now it is our turn to fast and pray for the

heaven-ordained destiny of a man whose work on earth for the sake of Israel is not yet complete.
