Today for the prophecy update,

I would like to argue the case for why I believe that the world has passed the proverbial point of no return.

If I could be so candid, I have to confess that I'm

finding it increasingly difficult to imagine any scenario other than God's judgment on this

Christ rejecting world. And believe you me, I'm trying to imagine a scenario other than that.

Now I realize that whenever I say this, and I do say this quite often it seems as of late,

that it sounds like textbook gloom and doom, fire and brimstone.

However, I think you would agree that the world today is like it was in the days of Noah.

In Genesis chapter 6, verse 5 and verses 11 through 13, it says,

The Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth

and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

Wow. Think about that. Every intent of the thoughts of man's heart was only exclusively evil continually, constantly.

Verse 11, the earth also was corrupt before God and the earth was filled with violence.

So, God looked upon the earth and indeed it was corrupt.

For all flesh had corrupted their way on the earth and indeed it was corrupt for all flesh had corrupted their way on the earth

and God said to Noah the end of all flesh has come before me for the earth is filled

with violence through them and behold I will destroy them with the earth.

I suppose it should come as no surprise that the Lord would say in Matthew 2437

that as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of man.

The Apostle Peter makes reference to God judging the world with fire,

as he did with the flood in Noah's day.

And it's interesting to note that it's in the context of people mocking and scoffing the Lord's return.
