When I first started growing micro-greens, I really just picked whatever soil I had

lying around my townhouse at the time and threw the seeds on top and it did okay

And it sounds like at the beginning similar experience like kind of spotty germination

maybe not great. I talk about seed starting obviously in the vegetable garden a lot, Jonah and the seed

mix, the starting mix seems to be one of the most important factors there too.

So just to go back in time a little bit before I get into that, I was in the same boat with you where I was like I just went to Home Depot,

bought some so I was like, oh soil so what really is the difference between one and the other and I learned that

lesson obviously the hard way with not having in the first year or so not really having a great quality product because of the soil.

So as most people know in the gardening space, like what you grow is from the soil so you want to build the soil

whether that's gardening outside or growing micreens indoors so the soil is

really really really important so pretty much what I did was just a ton of testing on what worked, what didn't work.

And what I came to is creating this recipe called what I call Super Soil, which it's pretty simple and

And pretty much what it is is a mixture of any pretty any good quality potting soil with a really high quality fertilizer and the one that I recommend is called Gaia Green
