0:00.0	When I first started growing micro-greens, I really just picked whatever soil I had
0:17.2	lying around my townhouse at the time and threw the seeds on top and it did okay

0:22.6	We talked yesterday with Jonah Krakmollnick,

0:30.9	And it sounds like at the beginning similar experience like kind of spotty germination
0:34.1	maybe not great. I talk about seed starting obviously in the vegetable garden a lot, Jonah and the seed
0:38.9	mix, the starting mix seems to be one of the most important factors there too.
0:43.2	What do you use for soil?
0:45.4	Are you okay to share?
0:47.2	Yeah, for sure.
0:48.1	So just to go back in time a little bit before I get into that, I was in the same boat with you where I was like I just went to Home Depot,
0:55.5	bought some so I was like, oh soil so what really is the difference between one and the other and I learned that
1:00.4	lesson obviously the hard way with not having in the first year or so not really having a great quality product because of the soil.
1:08.0	So as most people know in the gardening space, like what you grow is from the soil so you want to build the soil
1:13.2	whether that's gardening outside or growing micreens indoors so the soil is
1:17.2	really really really important so pretty much what I did was just a ton of testing on what worked, what didn't work.
1:26.1	And what I came to is creating this recipe called what I call Super Soil, which it's pretty simple and

1:40.0	And pretty much what it is is a mixture of any pretty any good quality potting soil with a really high quality fertilizer and the one that I recommend is called Gaia Green
