I mean, I did not realize that your farm was one of the largest in Canada,

and how you got into this.

Sounds like we kind of got into it at the same time.

Yeah, yeah, so I finished school in 2012 and kind of went down a more traditional path of studying finance and business and that's what seemed like the what made sense it was the you know what most people do and as a teenager I always loved gardening my dad had a garden and I was able to try like a real

tomato and see like wow this is crazy compared to what you can buy at a grocery store

so I had that passion pretty early on but didn't really know how to turn it into an actual career with farming because it just didn't seem very viable.

So when I finished school, I got a I hated it an office job and then I quit after a week and it was like what do I really want to do with my life and had like almost like a little bit of an existential crisis and decided like I love growing food I really want to do something to this so I volunteered at a local farm in Toronto and they were growing

I was like, oh, I started to crunch the numbers
