Welcome to Michigan HockeyC 8.1, where we're really hoping for an injuryless year.

Yeah. Happy fall, Al. It's a new season, although we did have like a summer podcast.

But I guess we do sometimes when there's like news.

But last year kind of ended oddly in that Michigan didn't have a roster.

So we had to do a summer one.

But anyway, outside of that podcast, how was your summer? Do you have anything good to share with us?

Interesting that you did, didn't do, wish you would have done? Summer story?

Not really. Watched the Tigers Corrine off a cleft.

Well, you don't have to tell me about bad baseball.

Which, I don't know, when is this being posted? Should be posted the next week, right? Probably, I don't know. Probably whenever it's convenient for people. Well, I think we should post it the week of the game. Okay. By the time people listen to this, they will know if the Tigers have made the playoffs or not made the playoffs. mean, do you think they're not going to make the playoffs? They very well could not. Okay. I guess I... We're taping it with a week to go. The Big Run series is about to start. I'm only broken from on one team, not on the whole league. So it seems like we're kind of in the same place, though. Yeah, well, that's the funniest thing about it is that like, right?

Unfortunately, the Tigers have the dumbest fan base in the league.

I don't know if that's true.

All the stuff about like, it's just like, it's just, I find it really funny that

we continue to have all these talks about spending with the tigers and

you know the they're not doing well because the GM is scared to win and is that what people are

saying yes why do you listen to these people well this is the fan base like this is the this is not

like randos online this is the prevailing mood if you talk to people, just like anywhere

about the type. Like everyone that comes back to this? There's like eight people in the entire

fan base that have a conception of things, and then there's 40,000 people that do not. So in some

ways, we're like the end of last year bad, thinking that like, oh, we might be better than we are?
