We're just one week away from Christmas, and you'd be forgiven for thinking they were just hours away from a miracle,

a virgin birth and a magical star rising in the east.

Sadly, though, you would be mistaken, because I'm afraid modern-day Britain has outlawed any miracles this year.

I mean, it would have to take a miracle for anyone to feel sorry for Baroness Michelle Mohn,

wouldn't it? A woman with more self-pity than she's got millions.

God only knows what on earth she was thinking when she decided to do an interview with her husband

over the weekend professing how right she was and how wrong everyone else is.

It would take a serious believer to think that

Rishi Sunak has a prayer when it comes to winning back the public's confidence, even after his

attempt to move to the right, with his rather late take on immigrants overwhelming the continent

of Europe. And since we last saw each other, things haven't got any better for the Tories,

but perhaps we have seen the future for Labour in the form of Wes Streeting,

and the lefties don't like look of it.

He's already saying that a new government under his party's ages wouldn't pay the junior doctors what they want either.
