Just 30 minutes ago, I wondered on this podcast exactly how the Indianapolis Colts were going to make things work with Alec Pierce, given their lack of cap space.

Well, mystery solved, gang. The Indianapolis Colts are trading Michael Pittman Jr. to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Well then, the

cults are quite active today. And this obviously positions Alec Pierce is the clear number one

receiver there. What I had said earlier about him being a wide receiver three, I don't think that's true

any longer. I think now we have to view him seriously as a wide receiver two option. Maybe there's

a world where Josh Downs has some value, but I will tell you this flat out. I don't like his profile

for fantasy purposes. I think he's a good football player. I think he's good for the Colts. I do not

like his profile for football purposes. So think he's good for the Colts. I do not like his profile for

football purposes. So as of right now, Alec Pierce is set up to see a lot of targets. So is Tyler Warren.

Josh Downs doesn't offer much upside, but he is positioned well in that depth chart. Right now,

though, Ashton Dolan is their next man up with Pittman out of the mix.

I think they have to address the position.

Now, they may do that via the draft.

We'll see, but let's hit the pause button there.

Alec Pierce, solid to stay with Indianapolis,

but earlier what I had said about him, no longer true.

Now he ends up being a big winner.

Financially, obviously, he's a winner.

And the fact that they cleared Michael Pittman out of the mix, huge winner. Now, let's go to the Pittsburgh Steelers. There is going to be an elephant in the room that we'll get to in a minute

with the Pittsburgh Steelers. But first and foremost, wide receiver was such a glaring need.
