The news continues to come fast and furious here during the NFL legal tampering period, otherwise known as the negotiation period. The Miami Dolphins, they announced that they were going to be releasing Tuaua. Now that'll be after League New Year on Wednesday of 4 o'clock Eastern, but it looks like they have signed their quarterback, at least of the present, and maybe of the future.

You know, John Eric Sullivan as well, their new general manager coming over from Green Bay.

Halfley obviously was Green Bay's defensive coordinator.

So there are a lot of connections to Malik Willis.

And now he will be in place. He is the presumptive starter for the Miami Dolphins. There's no major

ripple effect here for the Green Bay Packers. I mean, yes, it stinks when you don't have a very good

backup, but you figure things out in terms of backups. However, for the Miami Dolphins,

this is a significant change. We had a regime that was in place, the Mike McDaniel regime,

that was really centered on Tuatunga bylaw. He was the centerpiece in terms of running the show

as their quarterback. That will no longer be the case.

We don't know where tour is going to land. I mean, there's a world where he lands with the

Falcons. There's a world where he possibly has a shot at a starting job elsewhere and maybe

he has a starting job with the Falcons as weird as things have been with them. They're really

kind of dancing around the Michael Penix thing,

which has been odd with their new regime in place. But that's over. We now have an offense that

will be coordinated by Bobby Sloick. We saw him obviously have some success in Houston and then

flame out relatively quickly. But Sloick is, you know, he's been around the block. He comes

from the Kyle Shanahan tree. He certainly has experience as a play caller in the NFL, and he will

be calling the shots because remember, Halfley as a defensive-minded guy as your head coach is not

going to have really any say. I mean, well, he'll have ultimate say,

but he's not going to have as much input as an offensive-minded head coach would, even if that
