Summary

The new Michael Jackson biopic is stunning, gripping, and heartbreaking. But Kirk isn't just reviewing a movie here. He's connecting MJ's story to something way bigger — what happens to all of us when we build our identity on what other people think. Plus, Kirk opens up the mailbag and answers your questions on drifting friendships, following your calling vs. your parents' expectations, staying consistent in faith, and dating in your late 20s. you more about my trip to Neverland Ranch. Now, this film doesn't just celebrate Michael's talent,

of being the most famous person on the planet. Think about that. He's not just recognized.

1:19.5

He's not just admired. He is constantly being watched. He's constantly being analyzed and

misunderstood. He's being turned into something larger than life,

1:30.9

like not even a person anymore. And at that level, people can't really relate to you anymore.

1:37.5

They relate to their idea of you. And that's where the loneliness begins. When I visited Neverland Ranch, I was a teenager, right in the middle of growing pains,
