I once walked through Michael Jackson's mansion when I was a kid at Neverland Ranch.

I was on Growing Pains, and what I felt there has stayed with me ever since.

Now there's an explosive new biopic movie about Michael Jackson's life.

It's controversial. It's heartbreaking.

It's absolutely gripping from start to finish.

It is truly a thriller.

And it captures his meteoric rise, his iconic dance moves, the crushing weight of fame,

and the courage that it took for him to break free from that toxicly abusive father-son

relationship that he had that shaped so much of who he became.

And amazingly, his own nephew plays Michael Jackson in the movie, bringing an unbelievable

realism to the story.

But behind the music, behind the spotlight, behind all of the dancing, Michael Jackson's

life asks you and me a deep question, do we really want to be famous? And later in the video, I'm going to tell

you more about my trip to Neverland Ranch. Now, this film doesn't just celebrate Michael's talent,

which is amazing. It goes deeper and exposes something a lot heavier. Namely, what I found intriguing was the isolation

of being the most famous person on the planet. Think about that. He's not just recognized.

He's not just admired. He is constantly being watched. He's constantly being analyzed and

misunderstood. He's being turned into something larger than life,

like not even a person anymore. And at that level, people can't really relate to you anymore.

They relate to their idea of you. And that's where the loneliness begins. When I visited Neverland Ranch, I was a teenager, right in the middle of growing pains,

and it looked like pure joy and whimsical, magical Disneyland on the outside.

In fact, I remember there was a whole crystal ballroom in there.
