Summary

There's something really unusual going on in Miami as they are bucking trends of pretty much every big city in America.  How?  Well, they have a Republican mayor.  We have the scoop on this 44 year old rising star who's no Mayor Q, that's for sure.     Trump has filed a motion against the DOJ to stop the investigation and return his declassified documents.  It's in a Florida court with a Trump appointed judge.  He has to do it... but this just system is just an extension of two political parties now.    New Royal Drew Waters was waiting on Door Dash Monday to bring his Chik fil A to the hotel when the Royals called and asked, "why aren't you hear at the stadium?"  What happened after that is just wild.    A lot of Chiefs fans are concerned about the Chiefs defense this year and rightly so.  But how in the world could we judge it or compare it to teams in the NFC when the Chiefs face the quarterbacks and offenses on their schedule this year?   Aqib Talib is out at Amazon and this has to be the final straw for his career after he started a fight at a kids football game that led to Talib's brother shooting and killing a coach.    And a cheeky model named Kelly Kay has a crazy story of death, pregnancy and streaking at the Chiefs Super Bowl win.

I try really hard to not state the obvious when we do this podcast every day.

I feel like in a lot of different media you may consume,

0:22.3

there is a lot of repentiveness with what people are saying,

0:24.9

and this applies both in sports and in politics and news stories that are going on.

0:29.4

And I know that there are times that I certainly cannot avoid that.

0:32.1

There's things that we're talking about that everybody's talking about,

0:34.6

and maybe there's some sameness to it.

0:36.3

We try really hard here to try to

0:38.6

either find a different angle or a different commentary about a story that's taking place that maybe

0:44.2

other people aren't thinking of or saying and doing things that way or just trying to find

0:49.8

something completely different. And one of the persons that I talk about a lot on this podcast is Quentin

0:54.6

Lucas, the mayor of Kansas City, because he's really the epitome of everything that is wrong in

1:00.3

America. Not necessarily him personally. Heck, I don't know if he's my next door neighbor,

1:05.0

we might be friends in some way. If I knew him personally, I might like him. He seems like an

1:09.3

affable, likable, smart enough

1:11.1

guy. But the constant running around as a liberal politician trying to convince people that you're

1:16.9

somewhere in the middle is really troublesome to me. Barack Obama was the master at this. Bill Clinton

1:22.3

did some of it. Bill Clinton was actually basically a pretty conservative Democrat by a lot of counts.

1:29.0

But Barack Obama really put the playbook out there for how to ascend in your career and get to a place where you can win a big office and then just go as far left as you want.

1:39.5

There's nothing anybody can do about it.

1:41.1

It's obviously what Joe Biden's done.
