I try really hard to not state the obvious when we do this podcast every day.

I feel like in a lot of different media you may consume,

there is a lot of repentiveness with what people are saying,

and this applies both in sports and in politics and news stories that are going on.

And I know that there are times that I certainly cannot avoid that.

There's things that we're talking about that everybody's talking about,

and maybe there's some sameness to it.

We try really hard here to try to

either find a different angle or a different commentary about a story that's taking place that maybe

other people aren't thinking of or saying and doing things that way or just trying to find

something completely different. And one of the persons that I talk about a lot on this podcast is Quentin

Lucas, the mayor of Kansas City, because he's really the epitome of everything that is wrong in

America. Not necessarily him personally. Heck, I don't know if he's my next door neighbor,

we might be friends in some way. If I knew him personally, I might like him. He seems like an

affable, likable, smart enough

guy. But the constant running around as a liberal politician trying to convince people that you're

somewhere in the middle is really troublesome to me. Barack Obama was the master at this. Bill Clinton

did some of it. Bill Clinton was actually basically a pretty conservative Democrat by a lot of counts.

But Barack Obama really put the playbook out there for how to ascend in your career and get to a place where you can win a big office and then just go as far left as you want.

There's nothing anybody can do about it.

It's obviously what Joe Biden's done.
