When you pin on that number, when you enter the appropriate corral, when you cross the starting line, no matter how your training has been over the months leading up to the marathon, you never really know how the morning will unfold, and such was the case on July 27th of this year when I […]

Hi, this is Debbie Boyle's coach at Mojo for Running with episode number 69,

0:06.6

My Broken Arm PR at the SF Marathon.

0:10.0

But before we get into that, I want to announce that the Mojo for Running first 5K program is now open.

0:16.1

I know most listeners are already well beyond that in their running career,

0:20.0

but maybe you have family or friends

0:22.5

looking for a gradual beginner program. I've got the beginner runner program for those who have not

1:23.3

we'll do Boulder Boulder and the main marathon in half. This year in July, we did the San Francisco

1:30.0

marathon in half and a couple of weeks from now, we'll be doing the Space Coast Marathon in half.

1:35.6

If you'll be at the Space Coast race and you see some gray-haired woman in a run Tampa shirt,

1:41.5

there's a good chance. It'll be me. I'm doing the half and we've got

1:44.9

about 90 run Tampa members doing one of those races, so we'll be hard to miss. Anyway, about 40 of us

1:52.4

made the trip to San Francisco in July and I was especially excited to do that particular race
