There's something about keeping that fitness commitment on a holiday or some sort of

special day that actually matters more than we realize in the moment.

In the moment, it's probably just annoying.

During the 20K one-year step challenge, that was the full year that I did 20,000 steps every day for a year without missing a day.

I walked 20,000 steps on Christmas Day.

And if I'm remembering correctly, because it was, let's see, six years ago now,
