| 0:44.2 | The research indicates when we are walking consistently, |

| 0:52.2 | walking with intentionality, |
| 0:59.4 | we are lowering the risk of heart disease, we're lowering the risk of certain types of cancer, we're lowering the risk of type 2 diabetes. |
| 1:07.2 | Walking is helping me to manage my weight, it's helping me to manage my blood pressure and cholesterol. |
| 1:15.2 | So when I'm walking consistently, I'm lowering the risk of all kinds of bad health outcomes. |
| 1:23.2 | And that is helping me to age better. |
| 1:27.0 | Number two, even though walking is considered cardio exercise, |
| 1:33.3 | there is still an impact that it has on my strength, |
| 1:39.3 | the strength of my legs, the strength of my glutes, the strength of my core. |
| 1:47.2 | And having a strong body as I get older is certainly helping me to age better. |
| 1:56.0 | So that's number two. |
| 1:58.0 | Number three, walking consistently is also impacting my brain health. |
| 2:01.6 | It's making my brain stronger. |
| 2:04.6 | It's increasing the blood flow to my brain. |
| 2:08.6 | Now you could argue that, well, isn't this part of your physical health? |
