and I am here with Merritt Khan. How are you today Merit? I'm doing great

Annaga, thanks for having me. Absolutely, it's a pleasure. We were talking a little

bit before the show and I like you, am a mom of a team. I love emotional intelligence. I think that's so

important with everything we do nowadays and there isn't enough of it.

Amen to that.

So I'd love for you to talk about you, who you are,

what you do, and share your backstory a little bit.

Absolutely. I think it was really never a question of what was I going to do with my life.

It was more of a question of what was I going to sell.

You know, my mom was in real estate, my dad sold advertising for a newspaper.

My grandmother sold Avon.

My grandfather had to use car a lot.

I mean, it was just like, oh, I wonder what Merritt's gonna sell.

So I started with radio advertising sales, much to my father's

chagrin in the newspaper business. And then because I was good at that, I got promoted

to manager. And then what I was good at that I got promoted to manager and then what I realized in that manager's role was that everything that I really loved about being a sales manager had to do with growing people and helping them accomplish their goals and have better

communications with their prospects and clients and all of those kinds of things and it had very little to do with the
