Hey, everyone back to the well. I'm your host, Dylan Bowman. I'm going to try and keep the intro short today because the subject matter is pretty self-explanatory. And our guest this week should not need much introduction. Today, we're talking to the immensely tough and awesome Megan Hicks. Most of you will know Megan as the managing editor of iranfar.com,

the world leader in news and race coverage in the world of trail and ultra running, but she is

also a super strong athlete herself with a long list of accomplishments that makes me feel lazy and that I

think largely gets overshadowed by her work as a journalist. Among other things, Megan has won

the Marathon de Saab. She's finished the Tour de Jants. She's done the Bob Graham round. And just last

week, she finished the brutal Nolan's 14 in Colorado for the second time.

More impressively, she was able to do it in FKT fashion, becoming the first woman to successfully finish twice.

She is a really great athlete, as I mentioned, and it was really fun to be able to interview

her and share that part of her story with you all, and especially for those who may only know her

from when she's the one doing the interviewing. Before we get to it, I wanted to just do an unprompted call of support, 100% not

the American West is currently on fire.
