I thought that Game 5 was one of the weirdest, most classic nights in NBA history.

And then, as in the building, for this ridiculous item, a ridiculous game,

the Oracle crowd going completely insane the whole game, it was an old school,

Oracle crowd for the last game ever at Oracle Arena, which everyone knew.

The Raptors came out absolutely on fire, played like champions, deserving champions in this one,

as they won at 114 to 110. So many great players on their team finally getting the recognition

that they deserve and the joy of a championship. But to have the air sucked out of the building

as Clay Thompson goes down, head back into the tunnel, being helped off, holding the front of his

knee, coming down in a way that you've just seen that buckle and gotten sick to your stomach so

many times before, realizing that as he's being helped off, he can't return to the game.

And then, after a replay review and a time out to see him return to the floor, the crowd to go

completely insane makes two free throws, just starts jogging back on defense. And you're like,

are they just going to play it out? And then DeMarcus takes the foul on Siacum, the wraps in the bonus,

by the way. Siacum hits two free throws, they added foul to get him out of there, they

sent him to the back, he says to Steve Kerr, just give me two minutes and I'm ready to go.

And then he never returned and a diagnosis when you saw the film of him leaving the building

before the game was even over, you knew it was really bad. And now his agent confirming to

woj that he in fact has a torn ACL, the Warriors suffer a torn Achilles tendon and a torn ACL,

the Kevin Durant and Clay Thompson on back to back game. I just like the juxtaposition of the

incredible joy from the Raptors. And I don't even know if it was devastation for the Warriors.

Like they were after the game, you know, the locker room, like it wasn't anywhere close to the

way it was after 2016 in there where everyone was morose and Steph's I was still always remember
