Well, in the abject craziness of last night, a lot of other news actually has popped up here.

Let's start with the latest on the AD front. Reports coming in from Woj and Shams.

Number one, that Shams reporting that AD is focused on the Nix and Lakers as long-term destinations,

because he just wants to win, of course. That list narrowing from the four-team

list that he gave the Pell's in February, which featured the Nix Lakers, Clippers, and Milwaukee

Box of all teams. Box no longer here. And now, in addition to the Nix and Lakers, the Celtics,

and then the other two New York and L8 teams, the Nets and Clippers have been engaged with the Pell's,

Woj said that the Lakers are in the lead, whatever that means as of now in a TV appearance,

but I think that can change quickly. Griffin hasn't offered a firm timetable, but he has also

indicated to these teams that he prefers acquiring 2019 draft picks, be completed prior to the June

20th draft. So that is pretty darn soon here. And that makes sense because if he's going to

receive some of those picks that you want to see able to make him himself and maybe bring in

potentially even if we're talking about a top three or a top four pick with the Nix and Lakers,

to bring in that player. The other issue is that it seems like Griffin doesn't have a ton of

interest in some of the assets directly controlled by these teams and that he wants to involve a

third team, which might have some assets that may like the, say, the Lakers or the Nix assets more

than he does, although that obviously leads to a crazy amount of complexity.

It does. And theoretically, those could be done in separate things. Maybe he could even

Griffin could get a calibration on what's say, Lonso Ball's market. And it doesn't have to be in

the same deal, but it could be. And that does add complications. It also makes it harder for

any negotiations to stay private. Should that be what the parties involved want? Because it's another

another entity that can leak and everything else. And for Davis, narrowing the list, really what
