0:03.0	I've built more hotel rooms in the last 10 years of Western U.S. than anyone. I tend to get pretty good at it, right? I will say we're probably at $5 billion so far, but more coming. You didn't grow up with a Silver Spoon or around wealth or anything like that. We were in a blue collar neighborhood. My stepdad was a carpenter. By the time I was 16, I literally could hang doors, build porches, then he started his own

And then the call comes that changes your life. What happened on that call? Friend of mine called me to, hey Bob, I met with Sonny Bono. He wants to remodel
1:11.7	this building. I say yes, absolutely. I can do it. It was on the cover of People magazine, and it's got Sonny tossing this bread off in the air. In the background, you see a ladder going up the roof. That's me on the roof with the building inspector. But you had no clue how to do it at that stage, right? I had the confidence. I can figure it out.

1:29.3	I'll make it. I can do this. I always felt like I could do it better. If you do anything, be the best at it. Did you ever almost go bankrupt in those days? Yes, and I learned way more from that than 30 years of success. I learned the only person holding me back from doing something bigger was myself.
