or at 100%, but I am vastly improved. For those who didn't know, I had a deviated septum

surgery to use a clinical term, beat the crap out of me. Just left me a hot mess. I

basically spent about six days. I felt like there was a medium-sized monkey fist, clenched

right between my two eyes, behind my nose, my sinuses. And every now and then, the monkey

felt like counting to five with his fingers. It was excruciatingly uncomfortable and unpleasant.

And yesterday I got the splints out of my nose so I could breathe again. And for a little

while, it felt so good to be able to actually breathe and to have the pressure relieved

of the spirit of the gory details that I thought I had, you know, I don't know, that I had

taken some sort of wonder drug, some sort of limitless spice, vampire blood, whatever
