self-promote without looking like an arrogant fool. In business you're going to have to

promote yourself, your business, what you do, what you offer and often we feel

sensitive about that because we don't want to look like we're arrogant, like we're

full of ourselves.

Today I'm going to show you how to do it without feeling slimy.

So let's get down to business. Before I begin let me be perfectly clear when I talk about self-promotion and bringing in

some attention to yourself. I'm not talking about bragging.

bragging is a dirty word in our society and it's frowned upon

and there's a huge difference between bragging and self-promotion.

Don't be that guy or gal who brags all the time and is showing off.

No one likes that person. You have to maintain a sense of humility because at the end of

the day the only reason why you exist as a business

is because your customers exist is because they're interested in what you do and they purchase what you offer.

So without your customers you really don't have a business on your hands.

So stay humble. Even though it's self-promotion, it's not about you.

It's about your target audience.

Marketing that is purely ego-driven doesn't really generate results.
