0:48.5	We've hired several people from the Philippines on our team. Carl, our sound engineer and editor of this podcast,
0:55.0	an absolute wizard was a hire from the Philippines,
0:58.0	along with six other people on our team.
1:00.0	And hiring somebody overseas,
1:02.0	and specifically in the Philippines, is not much different
1:05.2	than hiring somebody that is right next door.
1:07.6	There are some things you need to consider and some tips I can give you when it comes to
1:11.3	how to refine your application process so you can find the best
1:14.3	candidates for your business, for your culture. The Philippines has become one of the
1:18.3	most popular places to hire for growing companies. Filipinos have a pretty strong command of English.
1:25.0	They understand Western culture and way of life.
1:27.0	But also in my experience, they're also very hardworking and dedicated to key values that we need to have in all our employees.
